The safari visits four parks in Kenya. Aberdare National Park is quite diverse with deep ravines that cut through the forested eastern and western slopes. Samburu Game Reserve is situated in the hot and arid fringes of Kenya’s vast Northern Frontier District. The area is home to the Samburu tribe, pastoral relatives of the Maasai.
Samburu Reserve as a safari destination has rugged and dramatic landscape; the Owasso Nyiro River runs along the Southern boundary dividing Samburu Game Reserve and is home to crocodile and hippo with the many animals visiting to drink during the heat of the day. Lake Nakuru has best been known for its thousands, sometimes millions of flamingos nesting along the shores and also rich wildlife including Rothschild giraffes and black rhinos. The Mara is the land of African legend: Lion are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and less commonly the Rhino.

TENTATIVE ITINERARY:
Day 1: Depart Nairobi For Aberdares
After breakfast depart Nairobi for Aberdare’s National Park, lunch at Aberdare’s Country Club which is the base hotel for The Ark Lodge. After lunch the hotel transport you to The Ark Lodge. Elephants dominantly rule the waterholes and salt licks. There are other animals which also come to drink water such as lions and hyenas; they have to contend with elephants seeing them off at great speed. Some animals such as Leopards are shy and mostly seen und as Leopards are shy and mostly seen under the night-time floodlight. Dinner and overnight at The Ark Lodge.
Day 2: Aberdares To Samburu
After breakfast depart for Samburu passing through hush farmlands, cross the Equator and proceed to Samburu National Reserve which is located in a rugged semi desert region. Lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge/Similar Lodge. Afternoon game drives. Samburu Game Reserve is home to some of the rare wildlife species including the Beisa oryx, Reticule Giraffes, Maasai Ostrich and the Gravy’s zebras. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge
Day 3: Explore The Samburu
After breakfast, morning game drive. Lunch at the Samburu Shaba Lodge. Afternoon game drive. Optional: You can visit local Samburu village. The Samburu people are close relatives of the Maasai tribes men and share a lot of similarities as both depend on livestock for livelihood with nomadic lifestyles. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sarova Shaba Lodge
Day 4: Proceed To Nakuru
After breakfast depart Samburu for Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley passing through the arid lands and the highlands of Kenya. En-route game drive to Lake Nakuru Lodge lodge/a similar Lodge/tented Camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive .The Lake Nakuru National Park, commonly referred to as the pink lake is also home to a huge colony of flamingo and the endangered black Rhino. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge
Day 5: Depart Nakuru For Maasai Mara
After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru Lodge for Maasai Mara National Reserve, Lunch at the Mara Sopa Lodge. Maasai Mara is located in the Great Rift Valley primary on the open grasslands. The reserve is the Jewel of Kenya Wildlife areas. After lunch proceed for a game drive in search of Rhino, black Manned Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffalo and others plains games. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 6: Full Day In Maasai Mara
This day is spent game viewing across the rich three studded grass land and rolling Hills. The famous Maasai Mara is renowned for its great leads of plains game that abound in plenty.
An optional: Visit the Maasai village for a Cultural learning experience or Balloon safari over the plains of Maasai Mara to enjoy the vista. On landing you will be treated to a heart full champagne breakfast in the bush. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge
Day 7: Maasai Mara to Nairobi – Kenya
We start the day with an early morning game drive from 6.30am to 9.00am you might be lucky to witness hunting. At an extra cost A bush breakfast can be arranged followed by a visit to the Maasai village to conclude your Maasai Mara safari experience. We depart from our safari lodge/camp at 10a.m and take an enroute game drive through the Maasai Mara Reserve on day three. Then we return to bustling Nairobi, arriving at about 16:00 in the afternoon. This unforgettable 3-Day Maasai Mara Safari ends upon arrival back in Nairobi.
