8 Days/ 7 Nights Safari – Kenya/ Tanzania Escapades

Day 1: Nairobi / Masai Mara 

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport  in the morning drive to Masai Mara through The Great African Rift Valley and Narok Town. You will arrive in time for lunch. check in at Mara Leisure Camp and have lunch. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five plus other animals. Dinner and overnight at Mara Leisure Camp 

Day 2: Masai Mara 

Early morning game drive game drive return back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast Full day spend in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo and the dangerous Crocodiles with a visit to Mara river. Meals and overnight at Mara Leisure Camp

You leave camp before dawn – the sky is clear, the air is brisk and the conditions are perfect. As the sun rises over the Mara plains, your balloon lifts off, a bright splash of color rising into the blue. Watch as a stunning panorama unfolds below you when the balloon’s basket becomes your lookout post for a bird’s-eye view of the beauty of Africa. Float silently just a few hundred feet above herds of wild animals. Gazelle and Impala watch curiously with their tails flagging – a warning to others that you are approaching. Upon landing, you celebrate your flight with a glass of champagne, after which the retrieve safari cruisers bring you back to your lodge. 

Day 3: Masai Mara – Serengeti National Park 

Early Morning Gamedrive in Masai Mara then breakfast after breakfast Take your picnic lunch boxes and drive direct to isebania/ sirare border of Kenya and Tanzania, meet with your Tanzanian native driver guide with an excellent 4 x 4 vehicle which is rebuilt for safari to give you a comfortable game viewing. Drive to Serengeti doing shallow game drives with picnic lunch on the way, you will arrive at the camp at around 1800hrs, check in at Serengeti Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight. 

From Isebania to Serengeti National Park …… 152kms approximately 2hrs . 
Serengeti is Africa’s largest national park provides abundant of wildlife made it considered as one of the world heritage site for its nature. The park is famous for its ecosystem that involves the great world event of annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeests and zebras include large number of carnivores. It is also home to Cheetah, lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, Wildebeest, Hartebeest, Topi, Eland, crocs Thomson and Grant Gazelle and many more?. Birds: Kori bustard ostrich, secretary birds and many more including the migrant birds from Eurasia, dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge booked on full board basis, FB 

Day 4 : Explore Serengeti 

A full day with morning and afternoon game drives to explore the plains, Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serengeti Sopa Lodge. Serengeti is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometres of protected area that borders Kenya’s Maasai Mara Game Park It is the Migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or crocodile infested river can hold them back. The Wildebeest travel through a variety of parks, reserves and protected areas and through a variety of habitat. Join us to explore the different forms of vegetation and landscapes of the Serengeti ecosystem and meet some of their most fascinating inhabitants 

Day 5: HALF DAY IN SERENGETI & TRANSFER TO   NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA 

 Today you will leave after leisurely breakfast and spend the morning game viewing as you make your way out of Serengeti. You will enter Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will continue game viewing as you make your way to your overnight lodge/camp located on the rim of Ngorongoro main crater with spectacular views of the crater floor. (B, L, D)

Day 6: NGORONGORO MAIN CRATER GAME VIEWING  

You will wake up early in the morning and drive down the Ngorongoro crater where you will spend full day exploring Ngorongoro crater which is a World Heritage Site and home to nearly 25,000 animals, giving you a very real chance of spotting the big five: lion, elephant, endangered black rhino, buffalo and leopard plus countless other African mammal species. You will witness the magnificent array of habitats, each with its own unique wildlife and flora. You will take time out to stretch your legs and enjoy a picnic lunch at Ngoitokitok Springs watching the hippos jostle for position in the water. After lunch you will proceed with game viewing and leave the crater floor in the late afternoon to drive to your next overnight lodge in the Karatu area, a region known for its coffee plantations, sugar cane and rice fields. (B, L, D) 

            Overnight: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge 

Day 7: NgorongoroNational Park– Tarangire Park

After breakfast do we head into the Tarangire National Park for a morning game drive. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed tocontain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African national park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings.

Day 8: Half day game view in Tarangire National park:

After early breakfast, you will go for half day game drive in Tarangire National Park, in the Mid afternoon you’ll drive back to Arusha arrival late in the afternoon where the safari will end with beautiful African safari memories.
